PIN TABS GOOGLE CHROME WIDE

Quick Tip: Pin Tabs in Google Chrome

Organization Feature in Chrome: Pin Tabs (It’s very easy to have many tabs open)

To Pin: Right-click on tab and select Pin Tab
To Unpin: Right-click and select Unpin Tab

The X disappears on Pinned Tabs
To Close: Right-click and Unpin or Close Tab

Pin Tabs organizes your favorite tabs to the far left and makes it hard to accidentaly close.

Pinned Tabs can be rearranged with other pinned tabs, but they will always stay in the far left.

New tabs opened in a pinned tab will open outside the pinned tab groups

To create new tabs in Chrome: Cmd + T

Web Browser: Google Chrome

Bonus Tip: Close All Tabs to the Right by clicking on the last tab in your Pinned Tabs, right-click and select: Close All Tabs to Right

  1. But there is no difference between regular and pinned tab in Chrome except its size. It can be also accidentally closed with a keyboard shortcut (Cmd + W) or a middle button of the mouse, and it will be gone if you close your window with a pinned tab. Safari, Opera, Firefox browsers don't have this problem. Pinned tabs will stay forever pinned unless you're gonna manually unpin it.
