  1. Got the watch as a Christmas present.
After a few days, it stopped working. the alarm does not work either and the watch switches off completely. Changing the battery is also impossible.
My girlfriend was devastated by this bad buy.
Don´t buy that piece of trash!

  2. i recieved this as an xmas gift and every night at 12 am it plays that exact super mario theme and it creeps me the hell out

  3. i just got this yesterday, i was so happy to get it because i always wanted it for ages but when i opened it, it kept on flashing and i wouldn’t do anything, after a while the screen stop flashing and showed the default time, so i changed the time to the correct one, and when i turned on the backlight the thing just resets again, it wasted a whole 24 minutes of my life trying to fix it or make the backlit work, it doesn’t, i just wasted 14 quid for a watch that doesn’t even work!. Im disappointed, and i saw some reviews and comments that it broke in a few days, the backlight wasn’t working, the screen got scratched etc. Can you please make like a better one or something?

  4. i got this for my birthday, also the backlight doesn't work 🙁 and the small screwdrivers i have dont open the back

  5. Don't buy these. The quality is terrible. The watch works only when it wants to and constantly resets to 12:00am. Alarm dosen't work on mine also. The backlight has not been installed properly and is highly ineffective. The screen is also loose. Mine are strictly for display only as there is no point of using them at all. A Casio F-91W will do you better.

  6. I purchased one of these watches last week and within 24 hours it reset itself completely 6 times. 2 of those were within 5 minutes of each other.

  7. The quality of the watch is utter shit but it's mainly just a novelty thing, if you buy this thinking you're getting some quality shit you're so far off xD
Either way, is there any way to change the battery? You can unscrew the back but I can't really see a way to get the battery out.

  8. I bought my watch from think geek and I set my alarm and it went off the time is set it to go off but the alarm keeps on going and going and I tried to turn it off but it won't please help

  9. Help¡ I bought 18 Game Boy Watches, and all o fit have a issue, someones the alam doesn't stop, in others the alam doesn't works and the mayority, when the alam starts, the hour and date resets. Is there support in Mexico?

  10. Do everyone a favor and stop selling these fucking watches. Recall every fucking Gameboy Watch you have sent out and FIX THEM. I don't know what useless Quality Assurance people you have checking this item, but it's garbage. The alarm is endless, the display glitches out, the light doesn't work once you set the alarm, and the date can be set, but isn't even shown. This watch is a mess and a money trap. You should be ashamed of selling such a low quality product that appeals to the nostalgic buyer base that doesn't even work the way it's supposed to.

  11. Just got one and added it to my large (about 60) wrist watch games collection, in which I have some other Game Boy watches and a Sega Game Gear shaped watch.
Here's a pic to show how they compare:

  12. My bro got me this for Christmas and I think you guys have sent out a dodgy batch, cause the alarm went off this morning and literally has not stopped. I don't have a screwdriver small enough to undo the battery cover and turn the damn thing off.

  13. I brought this from Ryman's. After one day of wear the digits malfunctioned. I replaced it and after third day of wear it did the same thing…what the f bohoooo

  14. Thanks! I own one of these and couldn't be arsed to read the instructions (well threw them away without thinking) and this video showed me how to set the time on it! Ta!!

  15. I have this watch but no music plays. Ive set the date n time the alarm picture shows but no music of mario or whatever music is heard on this watch!

  16. the alarm on the watch sounded on time, but it just wont stop now… literally hours of it continuously sounding and its showing no sign of stopping… help?

  17. How do you reset this watch?? Mine doesn't tell the time anymore and is stuck on the backlight. Tried to find the reset button behind battery cover but no luck

  18. after all the work I was able to find one and all it does is sound and sound and sound and it's driving me crazy, please help

  19. This watch is so broken. The first two times the alarm "went off" the watch just reset and didn't play anything. Every other time you press the D-Pad the watch resets. Sometimes when you press A and B at the same time, the watch resets. Sometimes when it resets it doesn't even show the time anymore. You also CAN'T see the numeric month/date, even though you set it. Did they even test this thing for one second? Could've been a 9/10 if it actually worked.

  20. 1 question: so you can set the date (days and months) but you can't actually see it on the display, but just the day of te week. so what's the deal?
